The apparatus (1) has a displacement device (20) for displacing a cabinet (2) e.g. case, forming support for tubes (3), and a sampling device (50) for sampling a sample of blood contained in the tubes. The displacement device has a guiding rail for maintaining the cabinet during displacement of the cabinet, and an agitation unit (27) for agitating the guiding rail which co-operates with a groove of the cabinet. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for analyzing blood (2) a method for handling a tube.
