A RECOMBINANT VECTOR FOR EXPRESSING EPOTHILONES AND A PRODUCTION METHOD OF EPOTHILONES USING THE SAME

A method for producing an epothilones is provided to effectively produce the epothilones in a Streptomyces venezuelae which is simply useful for genetic manipulation. A recombinant vector for expressing epothilone in a Streptomyces venezuelae, pDHS702-APBC is produced by inserting a epothilone biosynthetic gene epoA, epoP, epoB and epoC into a pDHS702 vector. A recombinant vector for expressing epothilone is produced by inserting an epthilone biosynthetic gene epoD and epoE into a pDHS618 vector. A epothilone D is produced by transforming pDHS702-APBC and pDHS618-DE-1 into the Streptomyces venezuelae DHS2001.
