Based on the eyes targeting which word (possibly using crosshairs that follo w the eye to word target like in the Apache Helicopter) in conjunction with the pattern o f activation of neural activity (eg. electrode sensors) we observe content patterns over tim e by understanding: 1. Recognition ~ observing (well) that makes sense eg. cause/effect or on other logic language attribute/clues/representative words... 2. Lingering memory ~ ease to revive the identity ~ (where many complex part s) a part of the lingering memory's original system or overview representative of understanding the system. To indicate you are still focused (attention) as you read text and awareness of read progress (verbalizing) can be empty reading versus good absorption of info understanding the meaning of as you read teat in context of which part of the story/subject/topic what new info does it shed light on or add to beliefs/knowledge/facts ~ pro/cons, environment, versus main characters or main objects.
