Provided are a dipeptide-degrading enzyme which acts on a dipeptide to produce amino acids; a novel measurement method for quickly, simply, and accurately measuring a glycosylated protein, a glycosylated peptide, or a glycosylated dipeptide, including allowing the above enzyme to act on a glycosylated peptide to produce a glycosylated amino acid and an amino acid, and quantifying the amino acids; a dipeptide-degrading enzyme which acts on a dipeptide to produce amino acids, the dipeptide being a glycosylated dipeptide, and the amino acids including a glycosylated amino acid and an amino acid; a method for producing a glycosylated amino acid and an amino acid, including allowing a protease and a dipeptide-degrading enzyme to act on a specimen containing a glycosylated protein or a glycosylated peptide; a method for measuring a glycosylated protein, a glycosylated peptide, or a glycosylated dipeptide, including allowing the amino acid produced by the above method to be degraded by a substance which degrades the amino acid, and quantifying the amino acid. |
