A parking device for a transmission of a vehicle is provided to easily perform the layout of the power train and the vehicle interior design by increasing the internal space through the deletion of the shift cable of the vehicles and related parts. A parking controller(20) provides the driving force for selectively binding or releasing a parking sprag(11) to a packing groove(10a) of parking gear(10). The signal electrical is input to the ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(30) according to the manipulation of gearshift. The ECU controls the operation of the parking controller according to the manipulation of gearshift. The parking controller comprises a parking cam(21), a rotation plate(22) and an actuator(23). The parking cam gives the active force to the parking sprag in order to engage the parking sprag in the parking gear. The rotation plate is combined with the parking cam. The rotation plate is rotated around a rotary shaft(24).
