The structure has upper and lower gudgeon systems (6, 7) aligned on a single vertical axis (3), and respectively cooperating with upper and lower strap hinges (4, 5) of a leaf (2) for pivoting the leaf around the vertical axis. The lower gudgeon system is provided in an enclosed volume (10) housing a motorization (14). Mechanical operating units (13) for operating the leaf are associated to the motorization and integrated inside the volume. The operating units are active on the lower strap hinge associated to the lower gudgeon system.
