METHOD OF MANUFACTURING AN ELECTRIC TRANSLATOR

A method for manufacturing a transformer is provided to suppress the lowering of a space factor of a core by forming an insulating thin film on an amorphous ribbon. An amorphous sheet(1) is a core material of an amorphous core transformer. The thickness of the amorphous sheet is about 25 um. An insulating thin film(2) is formed in at least one surface of the amorphous sheet. The silane is vapor-deposited on the surface of the amorphous sheet. The thickness of the insulating thin film is about 1 um. A wound core is formed by laminating the amorphous sheet in a plurality of layers.
