A composition for preventing and treating Th-2 mediated immune diseases, which contains probiotics as an active ingredient is provided to induce hypo responsiveness and treat Th2 cell-mediated diseases by reducing Th2 immune response. A food composition for treating allergic disease or a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating allergic disease comprises probiotics as an active ingredient. The probiotics comprises Bifidobacterium bifidium, Lactobacillus reuteri, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Streptococcus thermophilus, and Lactobacillus casei. The allergic disease is atopic dermatitis. The daily dose of the pharmaceutical composition is 0.001-2000 mg/kg(weight). The composition is used in a form of solution in oil or aqueous media, suspension, powder, granule, tablet, or capsule. |
