A refrigerant refinement/recovery system of a low pressure refrigerator and method thereof are provided to prevent loss of the refrigerant in a recovery process and a separate refrigerant refining process by collecting the refined refrigerant. A refrigerant refinement/recovery device(100) of a low pressure refrigerator includes a purifier(110), a heating unit(120), a refrigerant circulation path(163), and a storage tank(150). The purifier collects the refrigerant of a refrigerator through the refrigerant circulation path. The heating unit heats only the refrigerant with evaporating temperature. The refrigerant circulation path circulates the refrigerant of a gas state into the refrigerator. The storage tank stores the refrigerant which is heated by the heating unit. THE heating unit includes a warmer pipe(121) crossing the refrigerant. The storage tank has a ventilation pipe(153).
