A wearable computer, a wear recognition device of a device and a method thereof are provided to recognize whether to wear by various methods, thereby automatically driving and terminating a wearable device. A sensing unit(210) selectively senses and measures pressure from a wearer and temperature of the wearer according to recognition mode. The sensing unit transmits measurement values of the pressure and temperature. A controller(220) determines whether to wear a wearable device according to the measurement values. The controller produces a control signal according to whether to wear. A power supply unit(230) supplies power to drive the wearable device according to a control signal generated from the controller.
