<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely, surely and economically advantageously recycling a polycarbonate (PC) resin used as a base of a plate of used CD or DVD. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recycling the PC resin includes: a first stage for immersing a pulverized material of the PC resin used as the base into a solvent immersion solution having a blend composition comprising (a) 10-60 wt.% terpene-based hydrocarbon, (b) 30-70 wt.% morpholine and (c) 5-30 wt.% n-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and completely dissolving the pulverized material; and a second stage comprising adding water or a mixed solution of water and a monovalent 1-5C alcohol (aqua system) into the solution, in which the pulverized material is completely dissolved, in an amount of 10-40 wt.% to precipitate and solidify the PC resin as a coagulated product and to recover it to be recycled, and using the resulting residual solution as a cleaning solution or the like.
