PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite/terrestrial broadcast composite tuner having lower power consumption without deteriorating reception capability. SOLUTION: The satellite/terrestrial broadcast composite tuner 1 includes a terrestrial broadcast tuner unit 1, a terrestrial broadcast demodulating unit 2, a satellite broadcast tuner unit 3 and a satellite broadcast demodulating section 4. When the satellite broadcast is not received, the satellite broadcast demodulating section 4 is in a power saving mode and in a standby state, thereby reducing power consumption. Further, when the satellite broadcast demodulating section 4 is in a standby state, an integral gain control means 30 suppresses an increase in an integral gain of the satellite broadcast tuner unit 3. As a result, radiation to the terrestrial broadcast tuner unit 2 due to an I signal and a Q signal amplified by AGC amplifiers 82, 88, 89 can be suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
