PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit which does not influence display even when display panel parts with different sizes are combined. SOLUTION: The display unit 3 includes: a control register part 39 by which panel addresses are set; a command control part 35 which controls display based on a control command when the control command to be transmitted from a controller is addressed to an own-panel address; and a display panel part 30 in which display is controlled by the command control part 35. The number of display dots for one line of the display panel part 30 is 32 dots, when the number of display dots for one line of the minimum display panel part connected to the controller with one or more other different display units is 16 dots, the number of basic dots is considered as 16 dots, and in the control register part 39, two panel addresses of the number obtained by dividing the number of display dots of 32 dots for one line of the display panel part 30 by the number of basic dots of 16 dots are assigned and set.
