PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that especially, a body is detached from a chassis when colliding on a wall face in retreating in a radio controlled car whose body is fixed by just fitting projecting pieces in grooves and is often detached when colliding on the wall face in traveling. SOLUTION: This body mounting structure is so configured that a chassis-side engagement member 5 which is formed with a semicylindrical engagement inside plate 53 at the end, and a movement prevention plate 54 which is formed with a clearance above the engagement inside plate between itself and the engagement inside plate, are attached to the tip portion of the chassis 1; a body-side engagement member 6 formed with a U-shaped engagement outside plate 62 for storing the engagement inside portion is attached to the front back face of the body 7; the chassis and the body with their located substantially orthogonally each other are fitted in the engagement outside plate with respect to the engagement inside plate; and, when the body and the chassis are relatively turned to be in a parallel state, the engagement outside plate is located between the engagement inside plate and the movement prevention plate to prevent the detachment in the vertical direction and the front/rear direction.
