PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to confirm image quality deterioration, abnormalities, etc. from a remote place. SOLUTION: An operation detection part 17a detects a prescribed operation mode by an operator in accordance with an input signal from the input part 18. An image collection part 17b collects ultrasonic images from an image generator 15 when its image collection conditions are met and the operation detection part 17a has detected a prescribed operation mode. The image collection part 17b stores the collected ultrasonic image in a storage part 19.
