PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine for improving sealing properties between an insulating coating member and a coupling part, and to provide a method of sealing the rotary electric machine. SOLUTION: The electrical machine includes the coupling part 21 which electrically connects a conduction part 25b of a coil wire 25 and a connection part 19b of a power generation output lead line 19.
