An image forming apparatus, an image forming method, and a storage medium are provided to suitably apply luster to an image to be printed. An obtaining unit obtains image data. A making unit makes a histogram based on a signal value of each pixel. A derivation unit derivates the number of pixels matched with the first condition. A fusing process is manipulated through a fixing processing control mode to increase luster of a printed paper. A transparent toner is used through the transparent toner mode to increase luster of the printed paper. A central processing unit(802) is connected to a system bus(808). A boot read-only memory(807) stores a program executing processing. A printer engine I/F(805) controls communication with the printer engine(809). |
