<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED light source device allowing a wiring treatment to be safely and surely carried out, and preventing the treatment from impairing appearance designability. <P>SOLUTION: The LED light source device includes: an LED 2; a light guide plate 5 for introducing, from an end surface 25, light from the LED 2 to emit the light from a side surface 26; a housing 6 for housing the LED 2 and the light guide plate 5; and a wire 8 for supplying power to the LED 2. The light guide plate 5 is configured such that the length of the side surface 26 is larger than the width of the end surface 25, and the size of the end surface 25 is formed larger than the size of a light-emitting part 27 of the LED. The light guide plate 5 includes, on a surface facing the side surface 26, a diffuse reflection mechanism increasing diffuse reflectivity as separating from the end surface 25.
