<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device and a lighting fixture equipped with the same, capable of restraining heat transfer from at least either an arc tube or an electronic ballast. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device 2, fixed to an attachment face 4 with a support metal member 3, is provided with a luminous tube 8, an electronic ballast 9, a base member 6, and a main body 5. The electronic ballast 9 keeps the luminous tube 8 on in a stable way. The base member 6 is electrically connected to the electronic ballast 9. The main body 5 is jointed with the support metal member 3 through the base member 6 and houses the luminous tube 8 and the electronic ballast 9. The main body 5 is equipped with an edge part 7 in opposition to the attachment face 4, and at the same time, a convex area 15 including the edge part 7 is enabled to progress into a concave part 14 inside the support metal member 3 along its shape. The concave part 14 fitted to the edge part 7 of the convex area 15 restrains heat transfer from at least either the luminous tube 8 or the electronic ballast 9 to the attachment face 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
