<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which is superior in uniformity of light emission, includes a thin and narrow space-saving shape, and includes a light-emitting function on both sides. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device includes an LED 1 which is a light source, a support member 2 to support LED 1, a light-guide plate 3 to introduce light from the LED 1 through an edge face 25 and let it outgo through a side face 26 and a side face 28 opposing to the side face, and a cabinet 4 which supports the LED 1 and the light-guide plate 3 and includes a function of radiating heat generated in the LED 1. In the light-guide plate 3, the length of the side faces 26, 28 is longer than the width of the edge face 25, and the size of the edge face 25 is larger than the size of the light-emitting part of the LED 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
