<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means and method for promoting recovery of a neural function in a damaged site by forming a correct neural circuit after adequately guiding and connecting nerves when the nerves are damaged for a long distance. <P>SOLUTION: A structure body with a structure to attract the movement of a nerve cell or the elongation of a cell axon in one direction is provided. The method for transplanting the structure body to a ruptured and damaged nerve site so as to attract the movement of the nerve cell or the elongation of the cell neurite in one direction, newly elongating a neural fiber, recovering the normal neural circuit by the connection of the ruptured and damaged nerve, and also promoting the recovery of the neural function in the damaged site. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
