<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously achieve improvement of mileage of a vehicle and increase of an engine speed of an engine with the increase of a vehicle speed when a driver steps on an accelerator pedal. <P>SOLUTION: When an accelerator opening Acc rapidly increases, a decrease degree α obtained from a map based on the accelerator opening Acc and the vehicle speed V is multiplied by an accelerator change amount ΔAcc to calculate a decrease opening Aset (S150), and the decrease opening Aset is subtracted from the accelerator opening Acc to set an initial opening Astart (S160). A value increasing by rate processing by a rate value Art from the initial opening Astart is set as a controlling opening Acc* (S180, S190), request torque Tr* and request power Pe* are set based on the set controlling opening Acc*, and the engine or motors MG1, MG2 are controlled (S200-S260).
