<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the switching of a right-handed person and a left-handed person is time-consuming, and to provide a mouse which a user can operate without considering whether or not the user is a right-handed person and a left-handed person. <P>SOLUTION: An input device (11) for a computer equipped with right and left click input parts for enabling a user to transmit right and left click signals to a computer based on the input of the right and left click input parts by operating it with one hand is provided with: finger contact sensors (16, 17) installed at the both right and left side parts of an input device body; a judgement means for judging whether the operating hand is a right hand or a left hand based on the comparison of the inclination, area, number and position of a contact face (32) of the finger from the sensor detection result; and a transmission means for transmitting the right and left clock signals based on the judgement result of the judgement means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
