<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a configuration or method for displaying a plurality of images in different directions. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 100 includes a plurality of scan lines 12 extending in an X direction, and a plurality of signal lines 14 extending in a Y direction. An element unit Q includes a plurality of element rows R, arranged in parallel with the Y direction, wherein in the element rows R; and a plurality of display elements E, corresponding to the plurality of signal lines 14 are arranged in the X direction. In each of the plurality of element rows R, a first display element E1 and a second display element E2, which emit display light in different directions, are arranged alternatively. Among the plurality of scan lines 12, a plurality of first scan lines 12A are each connected to at least two first display elements E1, that belong to at least two element rows R and that correspond to separate signal lines 14.
