PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block for foundation and a foundation construction method by use of it, for letting the block stand by itself as a single element on the ground for construction, making the block flat easily, and using the block favorably when reinforcing loading capacity of the ground in foundation construction work for building and civil engineering work. SOLUTION: This block 10 for foundation has a top plate 20 having a plurality of through-holes 22 passing through it in the vertical direction and a plurality of leg parts 30 provided in at least a corner part of the top plate 20. A bowl-shaped recessed face having a reverse U-shaped cross section and using each through-hole 22 as a vertex is formed on a lower face side of the top plate 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
