PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable adhesive suppressing a gap from occurring in the adhesion interface between a member to be joined and the cured product of the photocurable adhesive when used for adhering the members to be joined; and a photocurable adhesion sheet using the photocurable adhesive. SOLUTION: The photocurable adhesive 2 comprises a photopolymerizable compound, a photopolymerization initiator which is activated on irradiation of light to polymerize the photopolymerizable compound, and a compound decomposing by the irradiation of the light activating the photopolymerization initiator and generating a gas.
