PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a conveyance facility at normal speed, to transfer passengers to a long conveyor after they ride on the conveyance facility, and to increase the operating speed of the long conveyor. SOLUTION: In this conveyor of an endless long belt of a square corrugated plate-shaped steel plate, the thin steel plate 1 is bent lengthwise to form a square corrugated plate shape, and a plurality of square grooves 4 are formed on the surface 2. By inserting comb teeth of a conveying device or a step board of a floor into the square grooves , transfer is enabled. Square grooves are formed on back faces of ridges 3, and cylindrical flanges are fitted to the square grooves and rotated to guide the movement of the thin steel plate 1. Non-slip is provided on the outer periphery of the cylindrical flange to assist driving. Square holes 10 are bored on both edges 9 of the thin steel plate 1, and teeth of a drive gear or projections of an adapter of an endless chain are engaged with the square holes to perform driving. Since notches 8 are provided until the upper limit of a side face plate 7, the steel plate 1 is deformed and bent. By inserting the comb teeth of the connected conveying device low to the plurality of square grooves 4 on the upper face of the thin steel plate 1 of the steel plate belt and then, lifting, fitting and pulling back the comb teeth, passengers on the steel plate belt are automatically transferred to the top face of the comb teeth.
