PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design method for a tire capable of obtaining remaining cornering force required for ensuring linear advancement stability according to load of the tire. SOLUTION: A cant angleθof a traveling passage R is set, force DF that the tire is descended on the cant at the angleθis calculated according to the load W of the tire, and an inclination m is determined from a relationship of the descending force DF and the load W of the tire. An angleϕ, an angle A and angle B are set such that an inclination determined from the relationship of PRCF that the angleϕ, the angle A and the angle B contribute to generation and the load W of the tire becomes equal to the inclination m. Thereby, the tire 10 in which the remaining cornering force required for ensuring the linear advancement stability is obtained according to the load of the tire can be designed.
