PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric shaver with which shaving can be effectively done by raising unruly whiskers from the skin surface by means of vibration of its head section through its vibration structure and which can improve the comfort during its use by preventing the vibration of the head section from transmitting to the side of the main body which is also used as a grip. SOLUTION: This electric shaver includes a body 1 which is also used as a grip, and a head section 3. The head section 3 includes an inner blade 16, an outer blade 17 and a motor 20 driving the inner blade 16. The head section 3 can be tilted to the body 1. Inside the head section 3, a vibrating mechanism for vibrating the head section 3 in the roughly perpendicular direction to the skin surface is placed. The vibrating mechanism includes motors 20 and 71 and decentering weights 51 and 72. Vibration is generated by rotating the decentering weights 51 and 72. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
