PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long service life organic EL device with narrow luminescent zone excellent in hue. SOLUTION: The light-emitting device containing the compound expressed by the formula (IV), wherein R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>is each 3,5-bis(4-t-buthylphynyl)phynyl, and R<SB>5</SB>and R<SB>6</SB>is each phynyl group.
