PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which can perform cleaning by a duster and can remove dust from the duster. SOLUTION: In the body 2 of the vacuum cleaner 1, dust on a floor (cleaned surface) is sucked from a floor suction tool 3 by a suction force generated by an electric blower 9 and caught by a dust collection section 7. The body 2 is provided with a dusting cleaning unit 5, and the duster 40 is taken out of the insertion hole 36 of the dusting cleaning unit 5 to perform cleaning by the duster 40. The vacuum cleaner 1 can clean a floor surface not only by the floor suction tool 3 but also by the duster 40. After cleaning by the duster 40, when the duster 40 is inserted into the insertion hole 36, dust is sucked by the duster 40 by the suction force generated by the electric blower 9 and caught in the dust collection section 7.
