An air turbulence prediction system leading to a highly reliable prediction result. The system (1) includes a data receiving unit (21) for receiving an input of data relating to the atmosphere state, an index calculating unit (24) for calculating indexes concerning different physical processes relating to occurrence of air turbulence by using the received data, and a prediction value calculating unit (25) for calculating a prediction value indicating the possibility of occurrence of air turbulence from the calculated indexes.
