<p>A mobile communications device (10) is adapted to be used as mouse for a computer (18). The mobile communications device includes a mobile communication module to allow the mobile communications device to communicate as a mouse device with a computer system by any wireless means, including but not limited to Bluetooth, WiFi, etc and a user input module to receive input from a user including instructions from the user regarding the movement of a pointer on a computer display (20) and regarding the selection of items to which the pointer points on the computer display. A communication module is used to establish communication with a computer associated with the computer display and to transmit instructions received from the user input module to the computer, thereby to control the movement of the pointer on the computer display and regarding the selection of items to which the pointer points on the computer display.</p> |
