<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restart sucking operation for an electronic component without stopping an apparatus for extended hours even if a vacuum pump fails. <P>SOLUTION: First to fourth head units 19a-19d are provided which comprise a plurality of sucking nozzles for an electronic component. An air sucking apparatus 2 is provided which sucks air through first to fourth sucking air channels 34-37 using first and second vacuum pumps 38 and 39. Four switching valves 40-43 are provided between the first and second vacuum pumps 38 and 39 and the first to fourth sucking air channels 34-37. The first to fourth switching valves 40-43 are provided to the first to fourth sucking air channels 34-37, respectively, and select one of the first and second vacuum pumps 38 and 39 to be connected to the first to fourth sucking air channels 34-37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
