<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of performing the setting work of a communication terminal for a predetermined use such as a remote conference by a simple procedure. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal 10-k for the remote conference and a cellular phone 20 are respectively provided with SD memory card reader-writers 15 and 26. When an engineer who visits the installed place of the terminal 10-k for the remote conference inserts an SD memory card to the card slot of the terminal 10-k for the remote conference, an ID intrinsic to the terminal 10-k is stored in the SD memory card 90. When the SD memory card 90 is inserted to the card slot of the cellular phone 20, an initialization file is returned from an initialization file providing server unit 30 in exchange with the transmission of the ID and is stored in the SD card memory 90. When the SD card memory 90 storing the initialization file is inserted again to the card slot of the terminal 10-k for the remote conference, the terminal 10-k for the remote conference performs initialization using the initialization file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
