PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement repairing operation so that a pipe to be repaired is made approximately concentric with an existing pipe, in an existing pipe repairing method including a repairing pipe forming step for forming a repaired pipe inside an existing pipe by inserting a new pipe piece into the repairing target existing pipe while sequentially joining the new pipe pieces to the existing pipe and a filling step for filling a temporally sclerogenic filler into a portion between the repaired pipe and the existing pipe. SOLUTION: In the repairing pipe forming step, a leading device 1 for holding a lead-off pipe 4 concentric with the existing pipe 100 is arranged in front of the lead-off pipe 4 joined to an anterior part of an insertion direction of a first new pipe piece 8-1. Then, the leading device is allowed to move inside the existing pipe in synchronization with an inserting operation of the new pipe piece.
