CORROSION PREVENTION METHOD FOR MULTITUBULAR REACTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing corrosion of the multitubular reactor which enables control of corrosion within the shell in such a state that at least a part of the heat medium introduced into the outside of the reaction tubes within the shell is taken out. SOLUTION: The corrosion prevention method is for a multitubular reactor 10 arranged with two or more reaction tubes within the shell 42 and comprises replacing a part of the gas-phase part formed within the shell 42 with a replacement gas when at least a part of the heat medium introduced into the outside of the reaction tubes within the shell 42 is taken out of the shell 42.
