PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaporization type petroleum burning device for excellently supplying secondary air to a burner part. SOLUTION: The vaporization type petroleum burning device includes a box-shaped carburetor 1 provided with a vaporizing heater 2 and formed with an outlet port 7 of a mixed gas at its lower part, a gas chamber 20 communicating with the outlet port 7 on the rear face side of the carburetor 1 and having the burner part 21 at its upper part, a fuel injection nozzle 3 for spraying fuel and a venturi part 4 for supplying combustion air on a lid body 5 for blocking the carburetor 1. The rear face side of the carburetor 1 is equipped with a box-shaped secondary air chamber 23 covering the gas chamber 20 and exposing the burner part 21 at its upper surface. Straight-line-shaped secondary air holes 24 are provided at lower parts of the both side walls of the burner part 21, which can uniformly and excellently burn the whole burner part without generating lift combustion or red flame combustion.
