PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaporization type oil burning appliance capable of performing good combustion by promoting mixing of a mixed gas. SOLUTION: This vaporization type oil burning appliance includes a box-type vaporizer 1 comprising a heater 2 for vaporization, and provided with a mixed gas outflow opening 7 at its lower portion, a gas chamber 20 connected with the outflow opening 7 at a back side of the vaporizer 1 and having a burner portion 21 at its upper portion, and a fuel injection nozzle 3 for spraying fuel, and a venturi portion 4 for supplying the combustion air, respectively disposed on a cover body 5 closing the vaporizer 1. The vaporizer 1 is provided with a vaporization face 8 for vaporizing the fuel injected from the fuel injection nozzle 3, and a partitioning wall 6 projecting from the vaporization face 8 toward the cover body 5 is disposed at a lower portion of the vaporization face 8. Further a horizontal plate 12 projecting from the cover body 5 toward the vaporization face 8 is disposed between the partitioning wall 6 and the venturi portion 4, and a meandering passage 13 is formed from the vaporization face 1 toward the outflow opening 7 between the vaporizer 1 and the cover body 5, thus the mixing can be sufficiently promoted, and good combustion can be performed.
