PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote management system of video processing devices, and to provide its method. SOLUTION: The system includes a plurality of video processing devices for independently detecting a first state information with electric power state transition or driving state to provide it through the network and for making a polling response for a polling. The system also includes a management server for managing the first state information provided by each of the video processing devices and second state information identified from a polling response for the polling, and for managing histories of each of the video processing devices based on the first state information and the second state information. Consequently, the system remotely collects and manages failures of the each of the video processing devices installed as well as operating state, failure information causing the failure and failure information of an abnormal driving, also allow each of the video processing devices to independently detect the state information with the driving state and/or electric power state transition and transmit it to a management server, and allow the management server to collect state information of the video processing devices based on the polling.
