PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method relating to extrusion molding for stable mass production of an oxide thermoelectric transducer having excellent thermoelectric conversion characteristics. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of the thermoelectric transducer, an admixture obtained by mixing raw material powder for forming the thermoelectric transducer with a binder and a plasticizer and then kneading them is extruded into a prescribed shape to form an extrusion-molded article, and then the extrusion-molded article is dried and sintered to obtain a sintered molded article, and this sintered molded article is cut by a prescribed length and is modularized to obtain the thermoelectric transducer. When the admixture is extruded to form the extrusion-molded article, an extrusion pressure at an extruder exit is set to 2 to 10 MPa. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
