PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive device for preventing belt skew, capable of preventing belt skew without using a complicated mechanism such as a link mechanism and having high stability and durability. SOLUTION: The device for preventing belt skew has an endless belt wound around a plurality of rollers to be driven to travel and can correct belt skew of the endless belt, wherein a belt movement detection member for detecting the movement of the endless belt in a belt shaft direction and a roller shaft displacement member constituted integrally with the detection member and having a conical shape at least a part of the member are fitted to at least one roller out of the plurality of rollers, and a guide for guiding and moving the roller shaft displacement member in a regulated direction according to the belt movement detection of the belt movement detection member is further provided to apply displacement corresponding to a belt movement distance to the roller shaft.
