PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable precise sampling of a fixed volume of snow sample without expending time and effort. SOLUTION: A snow sampler includes a rod 5, and a sampler 2 having a snow cutting member 2b with a cylindrically opened end in an axis direction, in which other end opposite to an opening side is connected to an end of the rod 5 and arranged in parallel with an opened surface at the end of the opening side, in which the rotation of the sampler 2 inserted by deposited snow rotates the snow cutting member 2b in parallel with the opened surface at the end of the opening side of the sampler 2.
