PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating polymerization liquid that allows a polymerization liquid to be reused and achieves reduction in the manufacture cost, reduction in environmental load or the like, solving problems wherein a polymerization liquid used for forming a polymer deteriorates with time and thereby the liquid is difficult to be reused. SOLUTION: The method for treating polymerization liquid is provided, for reusing a polymerization liquid that is used for forming a polymer compound, and the method includes a step of adding a flocculant to the polymerization liquid. The method also includes, after the step of adding the flocculant, a step of carrying out ion exchange or adding a chelating agent, and further preferably includes a step of adjusting the pH.
