<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean the surface of a paper feeding roller by bringing a cleaning tape stuck to a roll supporting member into contact with the paper feeding roller. <P>SOLUTION: A cassette cover 12 is opened to take out a consumed roll body 2 from a storage section 21, the roll supporting member 4 is removed from the roll body 2 and a cleaning tape 40 is stuck to a supporting section 4b by an adhesive surface 40b in such a state that a cleaning surface 40a is turned to the outside. Then, the roll supporting member 4 in such a state that the cleaning tape 40 is adhered to the supporting section 4b is stored in the storage section 21 and the cassette cover 12 is closed, whereby the cleaning surface 40a of the cleaning tape 40 is brought into press-contact with the paper feeding roller 13 through an opening 14 by a rotation supporting member 23 and the paper feeding roller 13 is rotationally driven for a fixed time, and consequently the dust, contamination, etc. of the surface of the paper feeding roller 13 is removed by the cleaning surface 40a of the cleaning tape 40 in a press-contact state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
