<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum external wall panel used also as an inspection window obtaining high sound and heat insulating performance and prevented from being fogged, in an air conditioner with a temperature difference between the inside and outside thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum external wall panel used also as the inspection window for the air conditioner or the like with the inside-outside temperature difference is formed by interposing a net-like spacer 4 formed of filamentous members with knot parts and crossing parts, between a transparent outer plate 22 and a transparent inner plate 23 made of a transparent material, and making a clearance distance between the transparent outer plate 22 and transparent inner plate 23 almost coincide with the height of the knot parts or crossing parts of the spacer to hold the clearance almost in a vacuum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
