<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate type variable displacement compressor suppressing hunting of a swash plate swingably provided to a drive shaft. <P>SOLUTION: This swash plate type variable displacement compressor is provided with: an external force generating means 22 exerting external force for changing the inclination direction of the swash plate 8; a hunting detection means 23 detecting the hunting of the swash plate 8; and a control section 24 controlling drive of the external force generating means 22 based on hunting detection information from the hunting detection means 23. The external force generating means 22 has: a resistor 34 arranged on the inner surface of a swing hole 8a of the swash plate 8 and inserted into the recessed portion 5a of the drive shaft 5; a rolling element 35 interposed between the resistor 34 and the surface of a recessed portion 5a of the drive shaft 5; and a solenoid valve shaft 32 connected to the resistor 34, passing through the inside of the drive shaft 5, and axially moved by electromagnetic force of the solenoid valve 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
