<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effect of a side collision load when the side collision load is input into a seat back frame while adapting to a thin seat back rest. <P>SOLUTION: Since an inflator 14 capable of supplying an inflating gas into a side airbag body 12 is assembled in a seat back frame 26 at the side end of the seat back rest, a mounting space for an airbag module in the seat back rest is relatively small. Since a fragile section 16 weak against a load from the side of a vehicle is formed on the seat back frame 26 on at least either the upper or lower sides of the inflator 14, when a side collision load is input into the seat back rest 24 at the time of side collision, the seat back frame 26 is deformed at the fragile section 16 to absorb the shock. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
