<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a consumer to produce merchandise in the original design through the Internet, and to place and receive an order of custom-made merchandise while properly considering the tastes or needs of a consumer. <P>SOLUTION: A consumer places an order for designed merchandise by selecting arbitrary design components and freely arranging the design components at arbitrary positions by drag-and-drop.
