<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector for flat conductor which can bring a flat conductor easily to a connecting position and can correct automatically even if there arises a position shifting to some extent. <P>SOLUTION: The electric connector for the flat conductor has: a housing body 10 in which an introduction space capable of introducing a flat conductor P is formed; and a pressing member 11 capable of adhering to the housing main body. The housing body 10 has: an insertion port 14 for inserting the flat conductor on one side; and an engagement portion 13 for engaging with a mating connector on the other side opposed to it formed respectively. The insertion port 14 and the engagement portion 13 are mutually communicated. A pressing part at which, through adhesion of the pressing member 11 to the housing body 10, the pressing member presses the flat conductor to a support face is also provided. The pressing member 11 has a projection portion 27 which penetrates in thickness direction of the flat conductor P at a cut-out part P1 of the flat conductor P at the time of adhesion to the housing main body 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
